Before you start — Two people recommended. Work on a flat, stable surface with enough room to move the assembled bike into position. Keep the box and parts list handy.
Step 1 — Unpack & Inspect
Open the boxed unit and lay parts out in a clean area. Confirm you have the main frame, console mast, touchscreen assembly, pedals, seat post and saddle, handlebar, small accessories (dumbbells), and the hardware pack. Report any missing or damaged parts to Sea Wonders.
Step 2 — Assemble the Base & Upright
Attach stabilizers to the main frame using the supplied bolts. Connect the console mast to the frame per the manual, but leave bolts finger-tight until final alignment is confirmed to avoid misalignment.
Step 3 — Mount the Console & Connect Wiring
Carefully secure the touchscreen assembly to the mast. Route wiring through the mast channel to avoid pinching. Connect the display cable and power adapter but do not fully tighten the console mounting screws until you’ve confirmed screen function.
Step 4 — Install Pedals & Seat
Mount the two-sided SPD/toe-clip pedals — note left/right thread differences. Insert seat post and adjust vertical/horizontal positioning to a comfortable starting point, then tighten. Attach the handlebar and accessory tray.
Step 5 — Power Up & Test Electronics
Plug in USB-C and main power (if required) and power the console. Confirm the display powers up, touch response works, Bluetooth is discoverable, speakers produce audio, and AutoBreeze engages when you change intensity.
Step 6 — Final Torque & Leveling
Once everything tests correctly, torque all fasteners to the recommended specs in the manual. Level the bike using the adjustable stabilizer feet to remove wobble.
Step 7 — Safety & First Ride
Do a short 5–10 minute test ride: check pedal tracking, resistance steps, incline/decline operation, and fan behavior. Verify that the included dumbbells and storage do not interfere with operation. Keep a 30–60 cm clearance on each side.
Troubleshooting Tips
If the console doesn’t detect power, confirm the outlet and power block are functional.
No resistance change? Check the console settings and cable connections to the drive.
Wobble on the floor? Re-check and retighten stabilizer bolts and use a level surface mat.
Q1: What makes the X24 different from other exercise bikes?
The X24’s pivoting 24" touchscreen, broad 20% incline to -10% decline range, and included dumbbells combine immersive coach-led workouts with off-equipment strength training. Few competitors offer both a large pivot display and decline capability, making the X24 a hybrid training hub rather than a single-purpose bike.
Q2: Is the X24 suitable for tall or heavy users?
Yes. With a maximum user weight of 159 kg (350 lb) and precision seat adjustments (vertical + horizontal), the X24 supports a wide range of body sizes. The robust frame and inertia-enhanced flywheel ensure stable performance under heavier loads.
Q3: Do I need a subscription to use the screen and classes?
The touchscreen runs on NordicTrack’s platform which offers on-demand and live classes. Basic console functions (resistance, incline control) work without subscription, but access to full trainer-led content typically requires a NordicTrack/iFit subscription for live and studio content.
Q4: What is AutoBreeze™ and does it work automatically?
AutoBreeze™ is an adaptive fan system that modulates airflow based on workout intensity. It engages automatically as you increase effort; you can also manually adjust fan settings on the console for personal comfort.
Q5: How loud is the X24 during intense sessions?
The X24 is engineered for home use with a smooth, inertia-enhanced flywheel; noise levels are moderate and comparable to high-quality commercial home bikes. Expect increased fan noise at high intensities when AutoBreeze is active. Using headphones via Bluetooth minimizes perceived audio disruption.
Q6: Are the included dumbbells durable and how should I store them?
The two 3 lb (1.5 kg) dumbbells are lightweight accessories intended for warm-ups and short off-bike strength sets. Store them on the handlebar tray or a flat surface nearby. For heavier strength work, consider dedicated dumbbells or a compact set.
